The Cross Schools of Education aims to develop the whole personality of each child by providing a school experience of lasting value. We are committed to provide an excellent education which prepares and challenges students to become exemplary citizens with distinctive Christian character of a global society. We teach God’s love as revealed through Jesus Christ and are non-denominational and Bible-centered in our approach to education. Each staff member works hard to be an example of Christ’s love. In 2017, The Cross Schools was awarded “Top 10 Preschool of 2017 of Los Angeles County” by Best of LA Series. We were selected out of 21,000 preschools in the the greater Los Angeles. In 2011, We were also named the “Best Preschool in Southern California” by Best of LA TV, a valuable service resource for LA residents. Within 15 years, Cross School’s reputation has spread into the community about our children’s excellent achievements as they rise through higher education. Parents are satisfied with the high educational standards which is provided by our school. We use a combination of traditional and Montessori which makes our curriculum unique and exceptional for the success in each child. We offer preschool, kindergarten, piano theory and piano lessons, after school, and summer school from 2 years old to 12 years old. In addition, we have several Common Core aligned programs in Math Concepts, Strategies, and Critical Writing.

History
Established in 1993.

The Cross Schools of Education was built to develop a generation of children to achieve their highest potential intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Within the school, there are three divisions- the school of music, preschool and kindergarten. In 1997, the land located in the City of Walnut was purchased and The Cross School was built and completed in 2001. 2005, the school was incorporated. Eventually, the Cross Preschool and Kindergarten merged with The Cross School of Music. In 2003, the After-School program was also added to our school to serve the school age students of the nearby districts. Many of these students come to our school to obtain higher academic studies that the public schools are not able to provide. In 2011, The Cross Christian School was awarded as the “Best Preschool in Southern California”.
