History
Established in 1967.

Col. Ridge Ryan founded what would become Coast Bible Church as a home Bible study, in 1967. With a strong, Bible-centered message, participation quickly outgrew Col. Ryan’s home, and, later, the Marco Forster School auditorium. Our current church building was dedicated on May 9, 1976, with Dr. J. Vernon McGee delivering an inspirational message. In 2016, Dr. Tom Bennett, who has attended Coast Bible Church since the age of 10, became our Lead Pastor. Pastor Tom is a graduate of Fuller Theological seminary, where he earned his M.Div. and Ph.D. in Theology. As we celebrate 50 years of ministry, we are blessed by knowing that Pastor Tom will continue to lead us in the CBC tradition of strong Bible teaching, in grace and truth, as a family in Jesus Christ.
