Guitar Showcase has been a San Francisco Bay Area favorite for musicians since 1965. Specializing in new, vintage, and Custom Shop gear, Guitar Showcase is also home to dedicated gear experts ready to evaluate and buy used gear seven days a week. In addition to electric and acoustic guitars, Guitar Showcase buys and sells amplifiers, effects pedals, pro audio gear, and accessories. Of the many iconic and boutique brands the shop carries, some of the most notable are Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, Mesa Boogie, Boss/Roland, Strymon, and Orange. Additional services offered include rentals, repairs, and lessons.

Established in 1965.

Guitar Showcase began life as Eastman Studio’s Guitar Showcase in 1965 by Bud Eastman (who later founded Guitar Player Magazine). Over the years, Guitar Showcase and Showcase Music Institute have grown into the largest musical retail and education facility in Northern California.
