Established in 1948.

Since 1948, Modern Lock and Security has been a family-owned and operated locksmith company servicing the entire South Bay region. Originally opened on First Street in San Jose by Mr. Herb Lentz, the business was later purchased by Ken Williams, who kept the original location. A few years later, a fire destroyed the shop, and Ken relocated the business to Vine Street in San Jose. Later, Darrin Wicker took over and moved the business to Westwood Drive in Willow Glen. Today, Darrin and his son, Andrew, continue the tradition of providing top-notch locksmith services to the community. As a mobile locksmith company, they can handle all your lock and security needs, whether you’re locked out of your house, need new keys, or require advanced security solutions.
