Dr. Edward Loev has been practicing the art of dentistry since 1969 and continues to provide the finest quality dental care to San Francisco residents. He attended Penn State University for his undergraduate degree and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry). Dr. Loev graduated from Dental School during the Vietnam conflict and decided to serve his country as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corp. During his three years of service he was mostly based off the coast of Vietnam and in Okinawa. Dr. Loev visited California as a young man prior to entering dental school and loved it, often dreaming of returning. The military facilitated his dream and his final duty post was on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. While remaining in the Naval reserves he moved to San Francisco and established a thriving downtown practice in the 450 Sutter Medical Building in the Union Square/ Financial district. Dr. Loev very much enjoyed caring for his patients and after 15 years of general practice was introduced to the enticing and advancing art of cosmetic dentistry. He quickly became obsessed with “smile design,” and transforming patients smiles and in some cases their whole lives through cosmetic dentistry. …

San Francisco Dentist Dr. Loev and his team of dedicated dental professional have been caring for patients at their Downtown San Francisco Dental Office for over 40 years. As a team they have committed themselves to transforming smiles through cosmetic dentistry while maintaining and restoring smiles and gum tissue through preventative, restorative and therapeutic dental therapies. Patient customer service, excellent care and the latest technologies have allowed the office and team to continue to thrive for over 40 years.
