HOKALI is a surf lessons school. We operate in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. HOKALI connects students who want to learn how to surf with local vetted surf instructors. Find the best surf class with a coach according to your needs: Beginners, Kids, intermediate or advance level. Our community of surfing coaches loves to educate and share this amazing lifestyle. Check out our packages and lessons options of Private Solo Lessons, Group Lessons, Couple Lessons and Surfcamps. HOKALI provides insurance and video tutorials for your lesson. Surf gear could be included for your lesson (it’s optional at the check out). For every surfing lesson that HOKALI connects we donate to different local Non-Profit organizations.

Hokali Co. is a Los Angeles based surf school founded in 2020 by surfers Ignacio Viau and Tomás Bisi. At Hokali, our mission is to teach you the joy of surfing. We are dedicated to helping you achieve your unique surfing goals – wether it’s riding your first wave or making your first turn. We also hope to instill and foster your appreciation for the ocean. It is our belief that each surfer can be a powerful force in protecting our beaches and waves now and forever.
