Our goal at Hillside is to create environments and experiences where you can encounter God in the midst of your life. Our mission is to see God’s hope transform our cities one story at a time. When you gather with us, our aim is that you would be inspired by the music, encouraged by the message, welcomed by our amazing community of people & be reminded that God’s grace is here!

History
Established in 1979.

Hillside traces its roots to a group of couples that were attending First Baptist Church of Pomona in 1979. As they began to move their families to the Rancho area, they sensed a need for new churches in a rapidly growing community. That common thread continues today as God continues to work in profound ways through the people of Hillside. Today, as more people continue to move east of Hillside to start their families and lay a foundation for their future, our hope is that Hillside would be a place where those families could hear from God, connect with others and thrive as a family in the same way that the 52 charter members of Hillside prayed that they would one day impact the lives of those east of Pomona.
