Our balanced, nurturing approach to educating children has been a hallmark at Kirk since 1961. Kirk School has a Toddler Center, Preschool, and K-5th elementary. The Kirk O’ The Valley School (“KOV”) was created in 1961 as a pre-school that utilized the facilities of the Kirk O’ The Valley Presbyterian Church. It thrived for many years in that form until it was determined that a community need justified a staged expansion to fifth grade, allowing children a consistent preparation for middle school. For 50 years the school has provided a quality alternative to public education in the greater San Fernando Valley area
