Established in 2007.

Kardia Church is a spiritual home for people seeking to know and encounter God in a diverse and loving community. Originally known as the First United Methodist Church of West Los Angeles, Kardia was reborn as a merger between two congregations, the original First UMC congregation, and a congregation from Los Angeles Korean United Methodist Church. At our church, we strive to be a blessing to the world by serving the marginalized and those experiencing poverty with tangible expressions of the love of Jesus. Our worship is contemporary, and we preach and teach from the Bible, moving with the Holy Spirit. We believe in creating an authentic and welcoming environment where all are invited to encounter God.
