History
Established in 1956.

When Bel Air Church began in 1956, we were all about following Jesus in our everyday lives. We heard God’s call on our lives to be a people that knew Jesus intimately and loved our neighbors as ourselves. Today, the world looks very different but the call to all of us as brothers and sisters in Christ is just the same. In 1946, the Church Extension Board of the Los Angeles Presbytery approved a tentative location for a new church to be built in the community of Bel Air. On December 4, 1960, a grateful group of people crowded into the doors for two services. Soon, three services each Sunday morning were required, and these continued until the church moved into its present Sanctuary in September 1991. Today, Bel Air Church continues to minister to, and disciple Christians of all ages through our expansive physical and digital communities.
