History
Established in 1954.

LLCF was founded in 1954 from a Bible study in Long Beach. The first services were held in a yellow school bus while we constructed a one-room building that was completed later in 1957. One of the early prayers that God has answered in an incredible manner is the desire to transition from being a “white” church to a multi-ethnic church reflecting our community. LLCF now is comprised of over 27 different ethnic groups and languages. We now embrace the calling of being a “RIVER church,” and have been planting churches not only in Long Beach, but also other cities, states, and countries. Currently, we have participated in twenty four different church plants through sending out church planters, teams, and funds. After 30 years of pastoring, in 2022 pastors Larry and Deb transitioned to leadership of the church to Pastors Sean & Joel to lead the church into the next chapter!
