Operational since 1970, Valley Christian Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers classes in various subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, history and art. The school also provides Bible, computer science, music and physical education classes. Valley Christian Elementary School offers foreign language classes in Spanish and German. It conducts extracurricular activities that include bands, choirs and ballet groups. The school provides auxiliary classes in the areas of photography, journalism, student leadership and performing arts. Valley Christian Elementary School offers sports programs, including softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track and field. The school additionally provides special education classes for talented and gifted students and operates a parent-teacher organization. Its students conduct projects to benefit local food banks, family crisis centers, women s shelters and hospitals. A Blue Ribbon School, Valley Christian Elementary School is a part of Valley Christian Center.
