The Big Bear Lake Christian Conference Center is located on the south shore of Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 6,500 feet. The main lodge was built in 1916 as a hunting lodge. In 1926 the Synod of Southern California purchased the property and operated the facility as a Christian camp for Presbyterian churches in Southern California. In 2005 the property was transferred to a new corporation called Presbyterian Camp and Conference Centers, Inc. Big Bear Lake Christian Conference Center is open year round to many types of organizations looking for a unique place to relax, retreat and renew. Groups can either attend one of our programmed ministries or rent the facilities and provide their own program. We are a dedicated team of people ready to serve your group. We are a mountaintop setting where you can relax, retreat and renew. We are a facility with an historic Lodge on the shore of Big Bear Lake. We are a Christian organization ready to partner with your organization. Whether you are a Church retreat, a school getaway, a sports training camp, or something else, we want to come alongside you and make your event a success. For those who want to take advantage of the surrounding area, we are five minutes away from the famous Big Bear Shopping Village and just ten minutes from two excellent winter ski resorts. Other activities in the area include golf, horseback riding, hiking, water skiing, and mountain biking.
