Established in 1951.

Located at Gallagher’s Beach, this cove served as a survival training camp during World War II and has been rented by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship of the USA since 1951. Originally established to be the Southwest Training Center for InterVarsity staff and students who participate in the many on campus chapters of this Christian club that seeks to see witnessing communities of Christian students at the University. CBS plays host to these conferences as well as group rental site for Christian churches and non-profits.
