History
Established in 2003.

At 25, Roland Cañamar started his first company, out of the truck of his car, The Mini Mini Grip & Lighting supplied equipment and services. The company quickly and enabled Cañamar to form Cañamar Motion Pictures in 1990. Adapting to local trends, Cañamar Motion Pictures relocated from Santa Ana to Laguna Niguel, California to serve the video market. This location soon evolved to a full service production facility with lighting, cameras, stages and standing sets. Business continued and by February 2003, Silver Dream Factory was born. In 2005 Silver Dream Factory began to produce and direct faith-based short films. During this time, it became clear that the new emphasis on a larger facility that would allow more affordable standing sets and stages was the model that would see Silver Dream Factory into the future. In July of 2010, Roland took the next step to deliver his product directly to Hollywood’s by moving Silver Dream Factory’s location inside the 30-mile studio zone.
