At Christ the Shepherd we have a passion for promoting God’s justice and spreading God’s love in our community and the world.

Our community dedication to justice, love, and inclusion arose in the 1960s, when African Americans joined a predominantly white church. In 1986, moved by this spirit, Christ the Shepherd fully embraced LGBTQ individuals and opened its space to 12-Step groups.

Our mission is to reach those this culture has rejected. Our passion inspires us to hold our doors open for people of all races, sexual orientations, gender identities, abilities, pasts and presents to join us.
