We believe in a lifestyle committed to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment with their ends to bring Great glory to God and our Lord Jesus Christ. In these, we desire to bring five elements to life as a process for a believer to accomplish the Great Commission and Commandment: 1) Discipleship 2) Evangelism 3) Fellowship 4) Ministry 5) Worship Or, the spiritual process in our Christian life to daily encompass and demonstrate, in other words: Membership, Maturity, Ministry, Missions and Magnification. This is our Journey! To bring people to Jesus and Membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like Maturity, and equip them for their Ministry in the church and their life Mission in the world in order to Magnify God’s name.

History
Established in 2009.

Journey Community Church started after the post-merger with Grace Community under the pastorship of Dennis Larkin, since retired, now under new direction by pastor Chris Smeirat (July 2016).

Manager

Chris Smeirat, graduate of the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa School of Ministry, upon graduation, took over as Senior Pastor after having served as preacher and events coordinator for the church. He desires a congregation where every member is a minister, and the whole community is brought to a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
