New Life Church is part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA)—a missions-minded denomination focused on reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

New Life was planted in 2011 by Community Christian Alliance Church (CCAC) in Northridge, California. CCAC had been exploring opportunities to grow beyond its current location when it learned that a sister church in Woodland Hills was closing its doors. Hoping to maintain a witness in this community, CCAC called Tom Sugimura, one of its own pastors, to lead the planting of New Life. Since the beginning, we have seen God’s hand in providing a fresh start in this location. The existing congregation includes members from the two sister churches and the community. God continues to bless the lives of those who have walked through these doors!
