Charter Oak Lighthouse is a Christian Fellowship that was founded in June of 1935. Our roots are firmly planted in the inerrant Word of God, which is the Bible. We are a Bible believing, Bible practicing body of believers. The earmark of our fellowship is love: Love for God and love for others. Our motto is “To Know Christ and to make Him known”.

History
Established in 1935.

Charter Oak Lighthouse started in Los Angeles as the Valley Mission. The church moved from Los Angeles to the new facility built at our present location in 1989. Laurence M. Blanchard, Ph.D. is currently our Senior Pastor. He became our Pastor as result of a merger between two congregations–The Master’s House of La Verne and Charter Oak Lighthouse here in Covina. This merger took place in 2009.
