Salem Lutheran Church and School is a family of believers that seeks to make a true and lasting impact on the world by sharing Jesus’ love and supporting our community. Salem is a great place for families to connect, grow, and support one another.

History
Established in 1965.

Salem was started in 1965 as part of the Pacific Southwest District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Construction began on the site that we call home today in 1968. Missional outreach to families is a hallmark of Salem, and in 1976 our preschool opened its doors. Our congregation has grown from just over 100 people to around 450 members in those 50 years, and our school has grown to offer education for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
