Mount of Olives Church (MOO) is a community of believers committed to ministering to the families in our church and community. We are a church with a focus on knowing Christ and making Him known by engaging in Christian community, Bible study, small groups, worship and serving. We also have a preschool serving children age 2 – 6 called Robert H. Lange Christian Preschool that is NAEYC accredited. And we offer an Adult Day Program that serves seniors with mild cases of Alzheimer’s, dementia and other clinical conditions by providing a warm, structured, day program with creative, social services, designed to fit the needs of seniors, and give their caregiver can receive some respite time.

Established in 1967.

Mount of Olives is a Lutheran church, founded in 1967, was the first church in Mission Viejo, CA. Mount of Olives Church’s preschool – Robert H. Lange Christian Preschool (RHL), was the first in the city of Mission Viejo, and opened that same year. We are a member congregation in Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).
