Established in 1907.

Established in 1907 by town founder Annie Bidwell’s gardener, Mr. Peterson, C&J was moved to its current location in 1913. Purchased from Mr. Peterson’s widow in the 1930’s, it was given its current name by Senator Ray Johnson and his wife, Lorraine (Christian) Johnson. Christian & Johnson has long been known for quality and service, and we look forward to serving Chico and the surrounding community for many years to come!
