We are a general new, used and rare bookshop with emphasis on literature and the arts (fine art, cinema, music, theater). We stock everything from $1 paperbacks to valuable first editions.

History
Established in 1987.

The Iliad Bookshop was started by current owner Dan Weinstein in 1987. After 18+ years of a bad landlord and good neighbors (Odyssey Video – hence our name!), we moved to our current location on Cahuenga Blvd. in 2006. In the summer of 2009 we doubled our size to approx. 5,000′ square feet, allowing for the return of reading couches and even more books.
